About Sheila Stevens
An energetic down to earth speaker, trainer and group facilitator, Sheila Stevens has inspired many to reach for their highest potential through transformative experiences. Understanding that our outcomes flow from our beliefs, she encourages individuals and organizations to develop fresh perspectives on challenges and opportunities for creating new possibilities
With a Masters degree in Sociology from the University of California at Berkeley, and a Masters degree in Public Administration, she has held faculty appointments with the University of California at Davis, Center for Human Services and the University of Phoenix, Business Administration.
She is an Association for Talent Development (ATD) certified coach encouraging individuals to see beyond their perceived limitations. A certified mediator and former Commissioner with the Santa Clara County Human Relations Commission, she is committed to healthy individuals, organizations and communities. She has over 20 years of training and facilitation experience, and has held high level management positions in the Employee and Services Agency, the Department of Employment and Benefits, Staff Development and the Department of Aging and Adult Services, Social Services Agency, County of Santa Clara.
“Seasoned and savvy” she is the mother of two daughters, themselves mothers and career women who are her inspiration for sharing empowering career success strategies with those active in their careers. A grandmother of four she fully embraces the mission of creating living and future legacy with and for her family and community. She is a model of a confident, seasoned woman embracing all of the possibilities of her autumn season for living life “full out”, and inspiring others in their post career years to live them with meaning, enthusiasm, expectancy and confidence.
